As our new Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will negotiate with dedicated suppliers in accordance with company policies, striving to secure the best contractual terms while ensuring high levels of internal customer satisfaction. You also understand how your team’s work integrates with other functions and contributes to the broader business objectives.
This position is based at our headquarters in Herlev, Denmark. While we value in-person collaboration, we also offer flexibility to work from home when needed.

Ensure alignment with GE HealthCare’s sourcing strategies.
Monitor and maintain supplier agreements and lead price negotiations
Drive Lean Logistics initiatives, including smaller call-offs, reduced lead times, and long-term availability assurance.
Act as the escalation point for major supplier-related issues.
Ensure alignment with GE HealthCare’s sourcing strategies.
Lead and support supply chain optimization projects and benchmarking activities (e.g., cost-saving initiatives, material or supplier changes).
Conduct regular Business Review Meetings with suppliers.
Ensure sourcing integration in New Product Development (NPD) processes.
Create and maintain sourcing parameters in GEHC systems via workflows.
Support Engineering Change Requests (ECR) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) from a sourcing perspective.
Assist with daily operations related to delivery and quality issues when needed.
Provide internal stakeholders with accurate data and ensure smooth information flow.
You bring a strong sourcing mindset and hold a relevant commercial background, with at least 3 years of experience in sourcing—preferably within the medical manufacturing industry.
You have a proven track record in sourcing, ideally within mechanical and/or electronic components.
You possess a systematic and analytical understanding of the end-to-end supply chain.
You are self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to share knowledge with your team.
You are fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English.
