The PositionAs Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Partner, you will be responsible for indirect purchasing for the procurement category "Marketing and Sales" and will develop a sustainable procurement strategy. You will accompany our colleagues in marketing through pitches for innovative digital communication solutions, cultivate contact with leading healthcare agencies as commercial contacts. Furthermore, you will also support our negotiations for third-party contracts, such as our distribution agreement and promotional agreements.
You will be the local contact person for Global Procurement in the assigned product group and will also be involved in cross-functional national and international purchasing projects.
What will you be working on:
As a specialist for current developments in the market you will demonstrate innovation and set impulses. In this role you will be responsible for:
Executing tenders, negotiating and concluding framework agreements, agreements and cost optimizations
Managing and developing strategic suppliers, including performance measurement and risk management
Taking an One Roche approach in executing sourcing and procurement activities for both Pharma and Diagnostics divisions
Taking initiatives to deliver savings and agreements that protects Roche interests
Collaborating with a cross-functional team and being open to a network of internal experts.
Who you are:
As a procurement speciaist, you understand the role of procurement as a business partner to drive value.
You have:
Degree in Economics / Commerce / Business or equivalent
Several years of demonstrated experience in strategic indirect purchasing or marketing, ideally in Pharmaceutical industry
Confident stewardship and ability to establish meaningful business relationships
An independent and results oriented way of working
Strong analytical and negotiating skills, and
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
