Job Summary & Responsibilities
Inspira Financial is looking for a Product Strategy Lead to define a transformational next-generation experience for the people and employers who use our platform - one that meaningfully improves engagement, utilization , and health and financial outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of two critical audiences: accountholders, who experience their benefits through our website and mobile app, and employers, who manage their programs through our admin application s .
We're looking for someone who understands human behavior and can partner closely with our design team to reimagine how CDH products are delivered - including how we integrate broader health concepts, and how we collect and use data to personalize and improve the experience. This person should be able to paint a vivid, forward-looking vision for what the digital experience can become, grounded in a real understanding of how accountholders and employers behave and what drives (or blocks) engagement.
This is not a traditional product management role. What is required is real, hands-on experience in the healthcare industry - preferably expertise with HRA, FSA, Dependent Care, Commuter, and other notional benefits, with working knowledge of HSA, ESF, and other products we sell - combined with a track record of having built product experiences that end users genuinely loved. We need someone who deeply understands what accountholders and employers actually need today, who can reengineer the experience around that understanding, and who is excited to help change people's lives through better health and greater wealth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and articulate a bold, transformational vision for the future of the accountholder experience, spanning both the website and mobile app
- Develop and articulate a transformational vision for the future of the employer experience within the application
- Apply an understanding of human behavior to identify what drives - and what blocks - engagement, utilization , and better health and financial outcomes, and translate those insights into reimagined experiences
- Partner closely with the design team to reengineer existing experiences and prototype new ones, bringing deep behavioral and industry insight into the design process
- Imagine new ways of delivering CDH products, including how we integrate broader health concepts and how we collect and use data to personalize and improve the experience
- Develop a deep understanding of how accountholders live with and use their notional benefits day to day, and where the current experience falls short of what they need
- Develop a deep understanding of how employers manage and evaluate their CDH programs through Health Wallet Manager, and identify opportunities to improve their experience
- Partner closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate vision and user needs into requirements, prioritization input, and roadmap direction
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert and advocate for the accountholder and employer experience, representing their perspective in cross-functional planning
- Interface directly with accountholders, employers, and partners to gather feedback, validate direction, and build trust in our roadmap
- Create and deliver clear written and verbal materials that communicate strategy and vision to both internal teams and external partners
- Operate as a self-directed leader who can define their own approach to a role that doesn't have an established playbook, and who is looked to as a subject matter expert and leader within the company
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience, with 3-5 years of front-line experience in a CDH-related organization - in customer service, account management, implementation, product management, marketing, or as a department manager
- Experience designing or researching digital experiences - through UX design, UX/user research, human-centered design, or a related discipline - with a track record of translating user insight into product decisions
- Deep, hands-on experience with HRA, FSA, Dependent Care, Commuter, and other notional benefits, with working knowledge of HSA, ESF, and other CDH products
- A track record of having built product experiences for end users - experience that shipped, was used, and made a measurable difference in engagement or outcomes
- A strong understanding of human behavior and what drives engagement, utilization , and adoption, and the ability to partner effectively with designers to bring that understanding to life
- The ability to reimagine and reengineer existing experiences, not just optimize them - and to paint a vivid, credible picture of what the experience of the future looks like
- A genuine understanding of accountholder and employer needs, and the instinct to translate those needs into experiences people will be delighted with
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to build and deliver polished, persuasive presentations
- A demonstrated self-starter: someone who picks up ambiguous, undefined problems and forges a path forward without needing detailed direction
- Strong general leadership presence and judgment - this role does not manage people, but is viewed internally as a leader and subject matter expert
- Comfort and credibility interfacing directly with accountholders, employers, and partners
- Extremely strong work ethic and ownership mentality
- Genuine excitement about building solutions that change people's lives through better health and greater wealth
Bonus Points
- Experience with UX research, usability testing, or behavioral design in a consumer-facing product context
- Experience integrating broader health or wellness concepts into a financial or benefits product
- Familiarity with the employer-side needs of managing a CDH program (reporting, enrollment, plan administration)
- Experience presenting at industry events (ECFC, Benefits Forum, etc.) or contributing to RFP responses
Compensation & Benefits
$140,000-$160,000 per year
Skills Required
- 7+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or a similar role
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, Design, Psychology or related field (Master's preferred)
- Deep understanding of consumer-directed healthcare and notional account products (HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, COBRA, ICHRAs) and related benefits/payment ecosystems
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and ROI analysis
- Familiarity with product development methodologies such as Agile or Lean
- Proven leadership skills to build credibility and guide self-organizing teams
- Ability to travel up to once a month
- Ability to work occasional overtime
