Manager – Strategic Planning & Corporate Development for India and META Region

Role Overview
We are seeking a Strategic Planning Manager to drive corporate strategy development and support key growth initiatives across the organization. The role will work closely with senior leadership to shape the company’s long-term strategic direction, evaluate market opportunities, and support M&A and corporate development activities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience, strong exposure to the Indian chemical industry, and demonstrated capabilities in strategy formulation, market analysis, and investment evaluation. Experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy roles is highly preferred demonstrated capabilities in strategy formulation, market analysis, and investment evaluation. ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities1. Corporate Strategy Development- Lead the annual strategic planning process and long-term growth strategy development.
- Conduct industry, market, and competitive analysis for refrigerant end-use markets and supply chains.
- Identify new growth opportunities, product adjacencies, and market expansion strategies.
- Develop strategic frameworks and scenario analysis to support leadership decision-making.
- Support M&A initiatives, including target identification, strategic fit analysis, and investment evaluation.
- Conduct financial modeling, valuation (NPV, IRR, DCF), and synergy assessment.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors during due diligence and transaction processes.
- Assist leadership in developing post-merger integration strategies.
- Develop deep insights into the Indian chemical sector, including specialty chemicals, refrigerants, intermediates, and related segments.
- Track industry trends, regulatory developments, supply-demand dynamics, and competitive movements.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on market intelligence and data-driven analysis.
- Support execution of key strategic initiatives and transformation programs across business units.
- Track strategic KPIs, project milestones, and value creation metrics.
- Prepare executive presentations, board materials, and strategy updates.
- MBA from a top-tier business school (Strategy, Finance, or General Management).
- 10–15 years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, consulting, or corporate development.
- Prior experience in the chemical or petrochemical sector in India is strongly preferred.
- Experience with strategy consulting firms or internal strategy teams.
- Exposure to M&A transactions, investment analysis, and strategic partnerships.
- Strong understanding of chemical industry economics, supply chains, and global trade dynamics.
