Job Description- Architect, design, and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and AWS.
- Build and maintain cloud-native microservices and API-driven platforms (REST/GraphQL).
- Contribute to end-to-end solution design across backend services and frontend integrations.
- Ensure system reliability, performance, scalability, and observability in production.
- Collaborate with Product, Business, and cross-functional teams on solution design and delivery.
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality and best practices.
- Work with frontend teams to define API contracts and integration patterns.
- Ensure stable production operations with focus on uptime, performance, and reliability.
- Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and continuous improvement.
- 8 to 10 years of software development experience with strong Java backend expertise.
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and API development.
- Experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, ECS/EKS or similar services).
- Good understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems (Kafka/SQS).
- Strong knowledge of data design and databases (SQL and NoSQL).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tools, and version control (Jenkins, Git, Docker).
- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, TDD, Cucumber, performance testing tools).
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Datadog, etc.).
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and secure coding practices.
- Contribute to technical design decisions and architecture discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
- Ability to collaborate with frontend teams and understand UI/API integration.
- Familiarity with SPA concepts and API-driven UI integrations.
