Job Summary:
The Associate Quality Engineer is an entry-level professional who supports the quality and reliability of Allegro's products. This role works under direct supervision to apply basic quality principles to collect and analyze data, support customer returns, and assist with quality system activities. This position provides a strong foundation in the core activities of semiconductor quality engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in the analysis of customer returns by performing initial electrical verification to confirm the failure.
- Gathers and compiles data for quality reports, such as reliability test results, audit findings, and customer metrics.
- Supports the execution of product reliability testing (e.g., HTOL, HAST) by preparing samples and collecting data.
- Helps create and update documentation within the Quality Management System (QMS).
Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree. No prior professional experience is required.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electronic circuits and an interest in quality and reliability.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
