About the RoleSlack is seeking a Staff Business Intelligence Architect (GTM) to join the Data & Insights team. In this role, you will transform data into strategic insights that accelerate the growth and performance of the Slack business. You will partner closely with leaders across Go-to-Market, Engineering, Finance, and Data to solve complex business problems, shape strategic decisions, and build scalable analytics capabilities.

What You'll DoPartner with Sales Strategy and GTM leaders to understand business priorities, identify growth opportunities, and influence strategic decisions.
Perform deep analytical investigations and translate findings into concise, executive-ready recommendations.
Design scalable analytical frameworks to identify trends, measure performance, and evaluate business opportunities.
Build intuitive self-service dashboards, reports, and data products that enable stakeholders to answer questions independently.
Collaborate with Data Engineering to design and maintain trusted data models that support operational reporting and advanced analytics.
Define and standardize business metrics to ensure consistent measurement across teams.
Develop AI-powered intelligence solutions that connect product usage, account health, customer engagement, and field activities into actionable workflows for GTM teams.
Create clear and compelling presentations, dashboards, and written narratives tailored to both technical and executive audiences.
Lead projects spanning the full analytics lifecycle, including data modeling, metric design, visualization, advanced analysis, and self-service enablement.
Help stakeholders understand not only what is happening, but why it matters and what actions should follow.
8+ years of experience applying analytics to solve complex business problems.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one programming language for analytics, such as Python or R.
Strong experience building scalable BI solutions using platforms such as Tableau or Looker.
Demonstrated ability to create effective self-service analytics experiences.
Exceptional analytical rigor with strong attention to detail and data quality.
Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with experience presenting to executive audiences.
Degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field.
Proven track record of driving measurable business outcomes within Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Support, or other GTM organizations.
Deep understanding of GTM operating models and experience partnering with Sales Strategy and Sales Programs teams.
Ability to independently define ambiguous business problems, develop analytical approaches, and lead initiatives from concept through implementation.
Experience identifying growth opportunities through advanced analytics and translating insights into strategic recommendations.
