The Role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you have a passion for test automation and a deep understanding of software quality principles. You will be a key member of our engineering team and instrumental in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our SaaS products. You'll champion a quality-first culture, collaborate closely with development teams, and drive the adoption of robust testing practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
What You Will Do
- Perform and execute all types of testing approaches (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, performance, etc.) using the appropriate testing methods. This includes but is not limited to manual functional testing and automation runs.
- Write and maintain a suite of automation tests for your scrum team.
- Collaborate and communicate with Product Managers, Developers, Custom Support and other QE to create ‘‘best in class’ Test Plans and Test Strategies.
- Work with Developers and Architects to analyze risk, determine coverage and create testing plans & strategies.
- Be an active member on the scrum team as a strong and vocal champion for quality in every phase of the SDLC.
- Review and analyze test results to identify and report software error patterns and defects. Use metrics to track the team's success and to determine Final Green Light for deploys & releases.
What You Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, with a strong focus on Selenium WebDriver and C#; also includes expertise in .NET framework
- Experience testing payments applications, or similar experience in FinTech QA
- Experience with automation frameworks like Playwright or Cypress
- A genuine passion for quality with sound knowledge of various testing methodologies and their appropriate applications (functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, performance, etc.).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to tackle complex issues.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Nice to Have But Not Required
- Proficiency in performance testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JMeter, k6) to assess and optimize application performance.
- Experience implementing BDD frameworks like SpecFlow

Compensation
The salary range for this position is: $94,000 - $141,500. You may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, as well as applicable employment laws.
Location
This is a permanent, full-time, fully remote position. Employees living in Indianapolis, IN are welcome to work from our company headquarters. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
