Job Description Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager in the Global Product Solutions team, you will be responsible for strategically designing new capabilities and scaling our products relevant to customers in markets we operate. You’ll work with other product managers and engineering and design to build and execute a product roadmap. You will be the point person for your area, balancing customer needs, business objectives, regulatory compliance, adoption and monetization considerations.

Product managers in this team understand the locally relevant needs of customers and are responsible for building products that cater to those needs end to end across all customers touchpoints at PayPal. We work as one-team across engineering, product, design, launch and work to solve customer problems.

Your way to impact

  • You will be responsible for developing deep understanding of our customers in global markets. Lead user researches for identifying customer needs, benchmarking competition by working with cross functional teams. Translate customer needs into solutions - Ideate and develop product requirements and lead the overall development of product
  • You will be responsible for driving business outcomes by owning and driving product roadmap which requires close collaboration with stakeholders in Commercial, Finance, Engineering, Program management & Launch teams.
  •  You’ll work with other product managers as well as engineering, design, launch & other cross-functional stakeholders to align, build and execute the product roadmap . 
  •  You will investigate data around our existing products and review where the largest opportunities may be to grow and expand our target audiences, manage request intake and feature scoping, and participate in agile ceremonies to drive the execution and launch of new features. 
  • You will be the point person for your domain, balancing customer desires, business requirements, legal/compliance, growth, and monetization considerations. 

In your day-to-day, you will: 

  • Lead a cross-functional team in creating and launching innovative mobile-first experiences
  • Understand PayPal's strategic and competitive position in the market to develop a product strategy and roadmap for your domain
  • Analyze, quantify, and articulate trade-offs of product roadmap features
  • Identify, design, experiment, and iterate on initiatives leveraging usability testing, data, and market research
  • Define and analyze key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, market, and launch product
  • Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making

What do you need to bring: 

  • 6+ years of product management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to be curious and understand “why”
  • Proven track record of delivering successful large-scale products
  • Ability to steer and influence discussions by effective listening, abstraction and articulation of ideas.
  • Deep empathy and appreciation for customer needs
  • Strong decisioning skills – should be able to understand customer, data and context and drive product hypothesis & decisions.
  • Should be able to work fast in an changing environment and be able to deal with ambiguity and bring clarity to teams
  • Strong sense of visual design and attention to detail
  • Experience in Fintech, Payments, Banking or Regional Product experience a plus.
