Job Description
Just imagine the decorations that bring LEGO® minifigures to life reaching development teams exactly when they're needed. Then make it real.
About the role
As our Sr. Planner for R&D Processing, you'll secure a seamless flow of deliveries across the development and manufacture of processing equipment that enables decorations on LEGO® elements. You'll drive coherent and transparent planning for novelty equipment, reorder equipment and ECR equipment, while balancing capacity and demand across a complex portfolio. You’ll work across the value chain to ensure planning decisions support both newness and operational efficiency, helping R&D Processing deliver on growing demand for processed elements.
Please note: This position is based in Billund, Denmark. Our flexible working model allows employees to work 3 days/week in-office and 2 days/week from home. However, some teams have higher demand for in-office days. There is no relocation for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Applied advanced Excel, Power BI and SharePoint capabilities to manage planning data, reporting and decision-making.
- Managed capacity and demand planning for novelty, reorder and ECR equipment across an R&D value chain.
- Planned and levelled complex development or R&D projects in an engineer-to-order environment with changing priorities and multiple scenarios.
- Coordinated complex engineer-to-order development projects with changing priorities and demand signals.
- Communicated effectively across functions, disciplines and cultures to align plans and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Used model-driven apps to support planning, workflow or operational processes.
What you'll build
- Transparent and feasible inflow plans that support the growing demand for processed LEGO elements.
- Strong collaboration and communication across engineering value chains, including Graphic Design teams, product development, element and mould development, and planning functions.
- Planning principles and ways of working that improve lead time, plan alignment and efficiency across the novelty value chain.
- A balanced capacity and demand framework that enables delivery while managing complexity.
If you've worked in a role where you planned and levelled complex development projects rather than shop-floor production activities, you'll feel at home here. Experience navigating engineer-to-order environments where plans change frequently and multiple scenarios must be managed at the same time will help you succeed. What matters most is your ability to turn complexity into clear, actionable plans.
Life on the team
You'll join Planning & Operational Development within Operations, a multifunctional team supporting end-to-end equipment development and manufacturing in R&D Processing. The team enables newness and efficiency, builds the data foundation for better decisions and drives digital transformation across the area. We stay connected through a hybrid working rhythm, with Tuesday as our shared team day in the office and planners typically spending around four days each week onsite. You'll also bring great energy, take ownership and motivate yourself while working closely with others.
What success looks like
Success means mastering a constantly evolving planning landscape where priorities shift and complexity is high. Over the coming 12 to 18 months, the team will continue strengthening planning capabilities, data-driven decision-making and digital ways of working. You'll work closely with engineers, decoration technicians, graphic designers and planning partners to ensure the right work flows through the system at the right time.

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
