Team Overview
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team throughout the software development lifecycle. This individual will drive the design and delivery of scalable cloud and on-premises solutions for customers in the U.S. and globally, while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with deep technical expertise in software architecture, cloud platforms, data infrastructure, and automation. They will mentor and grow engineering talent while helping define the technical strategy and operational excellence of our solutions.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Lead the operations of a multi-cloud hybrid data and analytics platform ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
- Drive progressive operational excellence through automation, observability, and incident management.
- Manage and coordinate with multiple engineering teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and support of platform services and products.
- Establish and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for platform components.
- Develop and enforce security, compliance, and governance standards across cloud environments.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in operational best practices and technical troubleshooting.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
Required Hands-On Technical Skills- Expertise in managing operations across AWS and GCP in a hybrid cloud environment.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration platforms.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Advanced knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack and Splunk.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Git and Harness among others.
- Deep understanding of data platform components including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time streaming systems.
- Knowledge of operational security practices including IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in platform operations, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
- Proven track record of managing complex, distributed systems in production environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
