Core Responsibilities
Drives on-time delivery of US Customer Planning deliverables
Organizes, communicates, and coordinates delivery of Customer Planning key dates for the US Business Unit (BU)
Collaborates across functions to ensure timely delivery of inputs required for planning and execution
Develops new planning checkpoints to support evolving commercial strategies
Anticipates operational challenges that may prevent successful delivery of US KPIs; alerts cross-functional teams to the issues and recommends solutions to proactively resolve
Leads US Collaborative Customer Planning (CCP) process
Sets and communicates monthly CCP direction, approach, and objectives
Coordinates pre-submission rollup / accuracy check
Identifies and resolves inconsistencies in planning approach, assumptions, and valuations
Delivers monthly CCP submission and summarizes CCP results and the storyline behind cycle-over-cycle changes for leadership and cross-functional partners.
Channels US customer insights into the Americas Demand Plan
Represents detailed account inputs to surface new planning assumptions not considered in the Americas Demand Plan and challenge existing assumptions where US has contrary evidence
US Demand Planning Director is responsible for bringing inputs from the short term forecast horizon
Establishes operational strategy for locked volume
Leads annual target setting for locked volume; aligns with US Sales Leadership Forum (SLF)
Sets strategic direction where needed
Supports Demand Planning Manager, Launch & Trade Promotion to resolve locked volume problems that will have a customer or market impact
Facilitates US Visual Factory and US BU Plan Review meetings; owns meeting agenda, content, and improvements
Provides ad hoc analysis to inform commercial and supply chain decisions (e.g. customer-level ICP and CICP plans, Retail Closing Stock, long lead time component analysis, etc.)
Ad hoc problem solving, process improvement, and project leadership
Assists Senior Director, US Market Operations in setting department strategy and annual objectives

US Market Operations is responsible for short-term forecasting and operational execution of the LEGO Group’s US business. We are a customer-focused organization – the team that collaborates with internal functions and external customers to deliver BU priorities and customer goals.
The Sr Manager, Market Management ensures holistic operational planning and management of the US business. The person in this role is responsible for surfacing operational issues that may prevent successful delivery of US KPIs, and lead the business to resolution.
Do you have what it takes?
Extensive experience in key account management, demand planning, customer planning, or data analytics
Broad end-to-end experience and knowledge across Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing
Followership among peers and senior leadership; strong influencer at all levels
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Skilled in conflict management, with the ability to independently solve problems and make sound decisions.
Ability to effectively navigate ambiguity to deliver results
Demonstrated ability to proactively interpret data, identify trends and challenge the status quo
Nice to Have:
Proficient in Excel and experienced in developing impactful data visualizations and dashboards
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience in a business-related field

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $134,750.00 - $202,126.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
