Team Overview
The OneTru Platform team delivers the unified experience that powers TransUnion’s data, analytics, identity, and decisioning solutions, helping clients make smarter risk, fraud, and marketing decisions. The team drives scalable, user-centered experiences across the enterprise platform while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Architecture teams around the globe. This role leads the UX Design practice from the Costa Rica hub, collaborates with teams across the U.S., Costa Rica, and India, and reports to the Sr. Director, Product Management. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Lead the UX Design practice for the OneTru Platform, defining the end-to-end experience architecture that enables intuitive, scalable, and consistent user experiences across multiple products and personas.
- Establish and govern platform-level workflow structures, task flows, navigation models, interaction patterns, and reusable design frameworks that support enterprise-scale solutions.
- Translate complex user journeys and operational requirements into scalable workflows and experience models that drive efficiency and business outcomes.
- Partner closely with UX Research to transform user insights, workflow observations, and research findings into actionable experience strategies and design decisions.
- Define, evolve, and govern shared UX pattern libraries and design systems while collaborating with engineering teams to ensure adoption and implementation consistency.
- Lead conceptual design activities including service blueprinting, experience mapping, workflow design, architecture modeling, and interactive prototyping.
- Review and guide detailed wireframes, design specifications, and user interface deliverables to ensure usability, accessibility, consistency, and implementation readiness.
- Manage and mentor UX designers across Costa Rica and India, establishing design standards, quality reviews, documentation practices, and critique processes.
- Coordinate design execution across distributed teams and time zones, ensuring efficient delivery, clear communication, and alignment with platform objectives.
- Influence Product, Engineering, and Architecture leaders by advocating for user-centered design principles and driving alignment around a unified platform experience
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- 10+ years of experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, Service Design, Experience Architecture, or related disciplines, with a focus on enterprise software platforms and complex workflows.
- Demonstrated expertise designing end-to-end user journeys, workflow architectures, and operational systems that support multiple user personas and business contexts.
- Proven ability to translate user research findings into scalable platform-level experience frameworks, workflow models, and design standards.
- Experience leading, mentoring, and developing UX teams while driving design excellence across geographically distributed organizations.
- Strong understanding of human-centered design methodologies, service design principles, design systems, and enterprise product development practices to deliver measurable business and user outcomes. [
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern UX prototyping tools to create workflows, prototypes, design specifications, and reusable design components.
- Experience creating, scaling, and governing enterprise design systems, UX pattern libraries, and component frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of UX architecture, workflow modeling, service blueprinting, information architecture, and interaction design methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to deliver implementation-ready designs that align with technical constraints and delivery milestones.
- Experience working within enterprise technology environments involving analytics platforms, data-driven applications, and complex operational systems.
- Experience supporting AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) driven products, workflow automation platforms, or advanced analytics solutions.
- Familiarity with enterprise SaaS platform design and large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience facilitating executive-level workshops, design thinking sessions, and cross-functional alignment activities.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, inclusive design practices, and usability evaluation techniques.
- Experience building and scaling global UX organizations across multiple regions and time zones.
