Team Overview
The Solution Pricing team helps shape TransUnion’s commercial growth strategy by translating market intelligence, customer value, competitive dynamics, and financial objectives into actionable pricing and monetization strategies. The team partners with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and senior leadership to optimize revenue growth, profitability, and customer value realization. This role reports to the Director, Solution Pricing. This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Impact you’ll make:
- Partner with Product Management to develop monetization strategies, pricing architectures, packaging frameworks, and go-to-market recommendations for new and existing solutions.
- Use advanced analytics, AI-enabled insights, and commercial intelligence tools to identify growth opportunities and support data-driven pricing decisions.
- Analyze customer behavior, market trends, competitive positioning, and willingness-to-pay indicators to strengthen pricing effectiveness and market competitiveness.
- Support pricing governance through deal reviews, pricing approvals, exception management, and discount oversight while balancing growth and profitability objectives.
- Track pricing performance using key performance indicators, including price realization, margin achievement, revenue growth, renewal outcomes, and sales adoption.
- Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, and recommendations that influence strategic commercial decisions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to implement scalable pricing processes and tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on pricing automation, commercial analytics, and operational excellence.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- Three or more years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, consulting, finance, or a related analytical discipline.
- Experience developing and executing B2B pricing strategies across subscription, recurring-revenue, transaction-based, or usage-based business models.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience translating complex data into actionable commercial recommendations and executive-ready insights.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders across Sales, Product Management, Finance, Marketing, and Operations without direct authority.
- Experience using business intelligence, pricing analytics, AI-enabled tools, and data visualization platforms to support pricing and commercial decisions.
Required Technical Skills
- Ability to use pricing analytics, business intelligence, and AI-enabled tools to identify commercial opportunities and support pricing decisions.
- Proficiency in analyzing and visualizing complex commercial, customer, and financial data.
- Ability to develop business cases, performance reporting, and executive-ready presentations that clearly communicate pricing recommendations.

- Familiarity with pricing governance, discount management, deal-desk processes, and price-realization measurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master of Business Administration preferred.
