Established in 2000, the John F. Welch Technology Center (JFWTC) in Bengaluru is our multidisciplinary research and engineering center. Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.
Essential Responsibilities
- Engineer and design sound/supportable technical solutions to complex supply chain business problems.
- Evaluate requests for enhancements and determine potential impacts with the current system design/configuration using Oracle - PO, OM, INV modules.
- Code complex/integrated customizations and/or solutions using PL/SQL procedures and packages, Unix Shell Scripts, Oracle forms, Oracle OAF.
- Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality. Triage/debug production issues (Data, Code, Performance, Security, etc.), identify root cause and corrective actions.
- Partner with GE Aerospace's Business team and other functional teams in Supply Chain to understand business problems, design requirements, perform development and testing in multiple instances, conduct CRP and UAT.
- Attend CAB processes and meetings to migrate code to PROD. Monitor programs, interfaces using APPWORX chains and create new ones.
- Develop Technical/Design documents like CF250/MD200/BR100 and collaborate other development team members.
- Contribute to the development of project and data delivery platforms with reusable components across teams that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.
- Contribute to Design , Solution & Impact analysis, Development, testing, and deploying code.
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members.
- Analyze, design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
- Review and/or analyze and develop architectural requirements at domain level within product portfolio or team.
- Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems, evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support.

Should have experience in heat transfer and thermal management, at various levels of fidelity
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
- 5 -10 years of experience in Oracle application development & implementation
- Sound knowledge in Oracle SCM module implementation – features, functionalities, configuration, front and back end technical details
- In depth experience with Oracle RICEW objects
- Techno functional experience in implementations of Oracle SCM modules –PO, OM, INV
- High Technical PL-SQL Ability and experience working in Oracle EBS RICEW Components is a must along with BI Publisher Reports, Web ADIs, Oracle Form Builders, Form personalization, OAF. Functional knowledge of Oracle eBS modules like Inventory, PO, OM. Knowledge of APPWORX.
- Experienced professional who has a broad understanding of the solutions, industry best practices and multiple business processes within the Oracle Supply Chain domain
- Experience in Agile Project Management Methodology
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills that non-technical end users can understand, Strong interpersonal skills.
