The Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for our brand and marketing creative. From building brand awareness campaigns to designing experiences like Dreamforce, our multi-faceted team does it all. We are a collection of designers, copywriters, strategists, PMs, and more, whose sole purpose is to bring the brand to life across our incredible portfolio of work.

To keep up, it is our top priority to ensure that our global teams and partners have the brand foundations, strategic perspective and insights, and enablement resources they need to act as brand ambassadors. That’s where you come in.
As the Head of Brand Strategy & Management, this new role will be critical in making sure that everything we do is on brand and on strategy. With a dedicated team for support and ability to expand, this role will have 4 core focuses:

Drive the strategic evolution of the brand, defining the roadmap for launch, development and delivery

Deliver on brand messaging strategy and hierarchy to help integrate and connect assets across the entire funnel

Deliver brand enablement and training resources and tools to empower a global community of brand ambassadors in our employees and agency partners

Set the vision, structure and course for this newly consolidated group of strategists, researchers, and brand managers to deliver on our brand goals
This role will report into the SVP, Global Brand & Creative and work closely with key leaders across ELT, Campaigns, PMM, and Creative.
What you will do
Brand evolution
-
Drive the strategic evolution of the brand, defining and executing the roadmap for launch, development and delivery

Partner with Brand Creative to infuse the brand strategy into the evolution of the brand identity, working in lockstep with internal teams and agency partners to bring it to life across all outputs

Deliver the subsequent briefs and strategic oversight needed to bring the brand evolution to life across key touchpoints
Brand strategy & messaging

Deliver a defined brand messaging strategy and hierarchy, evolving as the brand portfolio and company strategy evolves

Work with key cross-functional leaders and creative strategists to ensure the right level messaging across all marketing outputs

Work with key cross-functional leaders to define and document the brand and naming architecture to aim to unify and bring clarity to the system

Own and run the brand health studies and related research, determining and delivering key insights and learnings to help executives, creatives and marketers make informed, strategic decisions
Brand enablement

Partner with Brand Design & Development to build the structure, cadence and resources for global brand enablement

Identify tools and systems to help empower global teams deliver on work seamlessly and efficiently, e.g. Canva, ask-bots

Own the communication, cadences and distribution of key enablement training and resources

Bring our enablement and training resources to life to empower a global community of brand ambassadors in our employees and agency partners

Partner with Ops to consolidate various brand review processes to create a single, streamlined resource for brand support and consultation
Team management

Set the vision, structure and course for this newly consolidated group of strategists, researchers, and brand managers

Identify and manage key agency partners to support the brand across strategic initiatives

Identify key hires and resourcing to make the brand team successful
What experience you have
-
15+ years of experience in brand strategy (or related field) for enterprise B2B brands, either in-house or at an agency
-
5+ years of experience successfully managing and leading a team

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
-
Deep understanding of branding principles and consumer behavior

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proven experience in developing and executing successful brand strategies

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Market research and data analysis expertise

Leadership and mentorship abilities
-
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $214,800 to $327,600.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
