The Cloud Success Data Intelligence (BI) team operates within the Salesforce Customer Success Group. This team is dedicated to harnessing data-driven insights regarding customer usage, engagement, technical support efforts, satisfaction scores, and other industry-standard Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). These valuable insights empower customers to leverage the world's premier CRM platform, while leaders in the Customer Success Group use this intelligence to drive process enhancements for an improved customer experience.
Data engineering forms the foundation of the Cloud Success Data Intelligence team's operations, enabling the acquisition, maintenance, and automation of data to generate actionable insights. The Data Engineer Analyst plays a pivotal role in the team by aggregating data from various data sources to construct Tableau dashboards tailored for business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain the data pipeline to efficiently move and process data from various sources into BI schema.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the business needs, and formulate and complete end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, processing, analysis, and presentation of the results.
Establish and enforce data governance best practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data protection regulations.
Provide subject matter expertise of the underlying data for customer success and support.
Work with Business Stakeholders, Business Analysts and Visualization team to construct, preprocess, and clean datasets for presentation and dashboard creation.
Work with stakeholders and help them to extract the raw data for the business reviews
Monitor the daily processes and fix the data issues
Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior data engineers, helping them grow their skills and contribute effectively to data projects.
Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and incorporate them into our data infrastructure.
Knowledge on building APIs to pull data from various sources like Salesforce Org would be an added advantage.
Proven experience using AI to enhance day-to-day productivity, streamline workflows and automate routine tasks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
At least 6-8 years of experience in a data engineering role for a business intelligence team
Proficiency in Python, Airflow and database (Oracle, Snowflake)
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries
Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on report development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
