Sr. Associate Engineer Software Development (Backend Engineer)

The Role
The Core Performance engineering team is looking for a junior software engineer to build and maintain performance tests and performance test frameworks that underpin our performance work at Anaplan, as well as advocate for strong software engineering principles for performant software. Performance is at the heart of everything we do at Anaplan, so we need someone who loves performance as well as advocating for the performance of the platform.

Your Qualifications
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional software engineering or equivalent.
- Delivery: A track record of contributing to complex projects.
- DevOps: Experience creating and maintaining automated testing, preferably performance testing and the CICD tooling to support it
Tech we use
- Java: We write many of our performance tests in Java, that compiles into jMeter
- jMeter: We performance test in jMeter
- Jenkins: We write our pipelines for performance testing in Jenkins, with deep integration into our "Core Server" delivery
- Grafana: Observability both of our pipelines and internal performance tests, as well as in production for performance of our customers
