Job Purpose and Impact
  • The Senior Professional, Application Development App Owner for Transportation and Logistics for Food NA business role builds, maintains, integrates and implements software applications within the organization. With minimal supervision, this job performs advanced software road mapping, offers broad oversight of assigned applications and capability areas, and assists with application support and prioritization conversations to ensure we continue to modernize and maintain stable operations.

Key Accountabilities
  • APPLICATION MANAGEMENT: Leads development of application strategies and develop application roadmaps to ensure prioritization and alignment with business objectives and partners.
    APPLICATION DEPLOYMENT: Leads and coordinates complex software deployments and upgrades to ensure application is tested and communicates with stakeholders.
    STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Partners with multi-functional teams to understand their priorities and value drivers. Maintains effective communication to ensure alignment and delivery on desired business outcomes that support business objectives.
    APPLICATION SUPPORT: Conducts high-level support activities to support business outcomes.
    INCIDENT & REQUEST MANAGEMENT: Leads prioritization of incoming incident tickets and user requests and works with teams to resolve.
    USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Fosters engagement and builds relationships with internal and external partners to understand their needs and value drivers. Maintains effective communication to ensure alignment.
    VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Handles positive relationships with software vendors and negotiates complex contracts.

Qualifications
  • Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in application management, developing roadmaps, and application support

  • Experience in user communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems

  • Experience working with Supply Chain, Transportation, and Logistics teams
