We are seeking a talented individual to join our Network Operations team at Marsh & McLennan Asia Business Services (MMABS). This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.

Specialist - Network Operations

We will count on you to:

• Provide L2/3 technical support for Network Operations and Infrastructure covering: -
  • WAN and LAN connectivity
  • Routers
  • Firewall
  • Cyber Security
• Change and configure management of policies, troubleshooting, patching, capacity management and system upgrades to network infrastructure
• Provide senior level communications and presentations when requested for projects and status updates
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
• Monitor performance and ensure system availability/resource utilization  and reliability
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
• Provide continuous and consistent management reporting on the status of issues, actions, and resolutions
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

What you need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of NOC experience, working in a global networking environment
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and related network protocols.
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Understanding of SSL certificate management and encryption.
• Familiarity with cloud-based load balancers in AWS/Azure environments.
