We are seeking a talented individual to join our Multinational team at Marsh & McLennan Asia Business Services (MMABS). This role will be based in our Pavilion Damansara Corporate Towers, Kuala Lumpur office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working as per respective team's arrangement.
Insurance Operations Specialist (Support Hong Kong market)
We will count on you to:
- Serve as the primary liaison between Malaysian local offices, regional teams, and the global multinational network supporting clients and teams across Asia.
- Manage and maintain multinational insurance program data on Marsh Global Connect (MGC), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with global standards.
Support the preparation and delivery of program summaries, network instructions, and premium allocations within established deadlines.
Assist in coordinating new business, renewals, and at-risk client management activities across Asia.
Monitor and track program performance metrics and escalate issues as necessary. - Provide high-quality, consistent service to multinational clients across Asia, aligned with Marshs Client First Principles.
- Support local policy issuance, premium invoicing, and compliance with regulatory and tax requirements in various Asian markets, with a focus on Malaysia.
- Respond promptly to client and Producing Office requests, including participation in local and regional meetings and preparation of documentation.
- Collaborate with local brokers and insurers to ensure adherence to network instructions and program requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local insurance regulations and Marshs service standards across Asian markets.
Liaise with Insurance Regulatory and Tax Practice teams for guidance on compulsory insurance, admissibility of coverage, and tax implications. - Uphold professionalism, respect, and clear communication in all internal and external interactions.
- Participate actively in internal multinational content sharing platforms and peer support groups.
- Adhere to Marshs service standards, including communication timelines and documentation accuracy.
- Support fair and transparent network compensation processes in line with company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in multinational insurance program coordination or management, preferably within a global network environment.
- Proficient communication skills in English and Mandarin or Cantonese are essential to support the Hong Kong market
- Proficiency in digital platforms for program management; experience with Marsh Global Connect (MGC) is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
