As a Spa Attendant, you’re not just ensuring a clean and relaxing spa environment – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
Understand and abide by Waldorf Astoria Spa & Fitness policy and procedures.

• Greets patrons with a friendly and sincere welcome upon arrival.
• Listens and addresses guests requests and responds with appropriate action and provides accurate information.
• Communicates guest complaints to Spa Management.
• Daily set up of food and beverage items and equipment and replenishing and maintaining Spa pantry and snack display.
• Inventory and stock all guest supplies and linens.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards.
• Responsible for all aspects of cleaning the spa facility throughout the day, including, but not limited to: 
  • Thoroughly clean sinks, mirrors, glass, countertops, walls, vents, windowsills, equipment, and floors throughout the spa/fitness centre.
  • Pick-up and return loose equipment to designated area throughout the day.
  • Mop, scrub, wax, shampoo and spot clean carpeting and floors.
  • Empty trashcans and dispose bulk garbage in designated bins throughout the day.
  • Clean and maintain all fixtures, woodwork, walls, and windows, as well as additional parking lot clean-up, as needed.
  • Vacuum daily and as needed throughout the day, moving furniture and equipment, as needed to insure thoroughness.
  • Dispose of all soiled laundry in designated bins throughout the day.
• Ensure all fixtures and equipment are in excellent working order and report any deficiencies.
• Attend all mandatory meetings, as directed by Spa Manager.
• Provide customer service to guests, including information about hotel services, activities, and directing guests to other areas of the hotel.

• Assist guests in their needs related to the pool & fitness area

• Provide tour of the Spa, pool, and fitness facilities 

• Respond to guest requests, comments, and concerns in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness of general pool & fitness area including emptying used pool towel bins, organizing pool / fitness furniture, collecting towels, and neatly arranging the pool towel storage shelves
• Instruct and direct guests in correct usage of all facilities and equipment
• Confirm guest registration prior to issuing Hotel property
• Follow health & safety procedures including sanitization of all areas and equipment
• Monitor product inventory to minimize the loss of hotel property
• Raise maintenance issues via property reporting system and to direct supervisors 
• Monthly inventory counts including products, equipment, and towels 
• Covering reception desks when necessary or requested by supervisors and management 
• Providing lists of items required for ordering on weekly basis
