Team Overview
The team partners closely with Sales throughout the sales cycle, providing subject matter expertise in opportunity qualification, solution positioning, customer discovery, presentations, demonstrations, and executive engagements.This role reports into the Director, Business Development. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Partner closely with Sales and Solutions teams throughout the sales cycle, providing subject matter expertise in opportunity qualification, solution positioning, customer discovery, presentations, demonstrations, and executive engagements.
Identify customers’ critical business challenges and articulate how TransUnion’s suite of solutions can deliver relevant business value and outcomes.
Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance solution playbooks, messaging, use cases, and best practices aligned with customer requirements, market trends, and commercial priorities.
Support Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and proposal development by providing solution expertise, business-value narratives, and differentiated positioning.
Collaborate with Product, Delivery, Operations, and Account Management teams to support a seamless transition from the sales process through implementation and ongoing client success.
Serve as a subject matter expert by delivering training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and sales-enablement programs that strengthen internal solution capabilities.
Lead and support proofs of concept (POCs), pilots, and customer evaluations to demonstrate solution effectiveness and business value.
Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, regulatory changes, and customer feedback to refine solution positioning and strengthen go-to-market strategies.
Maintain deep knowledge of fraud prevention, identity verification, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), digital risk, and emerging market trends to advise customers and internal stakeholders effectively.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
At least 10 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or sales engineering within fraud prevention, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), identity verification, device intelligence, digital risk, or a closely related domain, enabling effective support for complex customer engagements.
Experience supporting and positioning Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions in enterprise environments, including complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and solution components.
Strong knowledge of fraud prevention, AML, identity verification, device intelligence, and digital risk technologies, with experience applying this knowledge in financial services, fintech, gaming or gambling, telecommunications, insurance, or similarly regulated industries.
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business-value propositions and customer outcomes, supported by strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
Professional fluency in Spanish and English, willingness and ability to travel as required, and a bachelor’s degree.
Required Technical Skills
Ability to support the positioning and demonstration of enterprise SaaS solutions across customer discovery, solution design, proofs of concept, and evaluation activities.
Applied technical knowledge of fraud prevention, identity verification, AML, device intelligence, and digital risk solutions.
Ability to develop solution playbooks, use cases, customer presentations, demonstrations, business-value narratives, and technical responses for RFPs and RFIs.
