About this opportunity:
We are seeking Solution Architect for IMS domain who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IMS-based solutions for telecom operators. The role involves end-to-end ownership of architecture, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, industry standards, and business objectives.
What you will do:
- Design end-to-end IMS solutions (VoLTE, VoWiFi, multimedia) and define the architecture for core IMS nodes (CSCF, TAS, SBC, MRF, DNS).
- Ensure solutions meet 3GPP standards and deliver scalability, high availability, and performance.
- Act as the primary technical interface for customers; gather and analyse business and technical requirements and present solution designs and proposals.
- Support pre-sales activities (solution positioning, demos, technical workshops) and construct value propositions.
- Lead technical delivery during deployment, integration and onboarding of IMS services into live networks.
- Integrate IMS architecture and protocols (SIP, Diameter, RTP). Knowledge of VoLTE, VoWiFi, 5G Core, EPC with LTE/5G Core, OSS/BSS and legacy networks and ensure interoperability with third party network elements. Familiarity with virtualization/cloud platforms (NFV/SDN, Kubernetes, OpenStack), automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Troubleshoot complex multi vendor issues and drive acceptance testing and handover to operations teams.
- Monitor/analyse network performance and recommend improvements; provide technical leadership to ensure customer excellence.
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated success leading diverse teams technically to deliver solutions in telecom networks.
- Customer-focused mindset: Shall be able to handle customers, understand the expectations and drive the delivery ensuring the Customer Excellence.
- Stakeholder management: Experience in managing multicultural, cross‐border internal and external stakeholders and customer.
- Shall be able to work in Global environment with diverse High‐performing teams and bring significant business impact while delivering the projects.
- Collaborative Mindset: Open‐minded and adept at collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Knowledge and adaptability to Automation and AI related tools, methodology and practices.
- Shall be able to deliver with High quality standards and ensure First Time Right delivery.
The skills you bring:
- Wireshark / signalling analysers.
- Scripting (Python/Shell) is an advantage.
- Cloud/Virtualization (NFV/SDN) exposure preferred.
- Docker and Kubernetes knowledge with exposure to Cloud Native solutions.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- BE/B.Tech/MCA
- 10+ years of experience in service delivery with understanding of service delivery business operations in telecom Industry particularly IMS Networks.
