- Analyse system behaviour and performance using logs, traces, KPIs including throughput, latency, PRB utilisation, resource load and QoS/QoE indicators.
- Troubleshooting Link curve verification, Channel quality and perform root cause analysis across multiple protocol layers (PHY, MAC, RLC, PDCP, IP) for complex system issues.
- Perform requirement analysis for feature integration and verification to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Contribute to continuous improvements of products, test coverage, verification frameworks, automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with RAN development, integration/CI and product management teams.
- Continuously develop competence in relevant technical domains and modern verification practices. Explore and apply AI-assisted verification methods
The skills you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience in system-level verification, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting LTE/5G NR baseband and radio equipment.
- Strong understanding of wireless communication systems (LTE/5G NR), RAN architecture/protocol stack and 5G NR air-interface technologies
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and troubleshooting performance issues at PHY/MAC layer under varying channel conditions.
- Deep knowledge of system level KPIs (throughput, latency, resource load, QoS/QoE) and the ability to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Experience working in Linux environments and overall IP networking.
- Programming/Automation/scripting skills (for example Python, Bash, Java). Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
- Exposure to configuration management and automation tools (for example Git, Gerrit, Jenkins).
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Cloud-Native RAN, O-RAN Architecture.
- Experience with UE simulators, channel emulators, fading technologies, Link curve analysis and lab test tools.
