Solution Architect - Automation, Analytics & AI/ML (AAA) & Cloud Infrastructure capabilities (m/f/d)

We are looking for a driven and collaborative Solution Architect to take ownership of the end-to-end technical architecture of our services and turn complex business requirements into smart, scalable solutions. You will shape and steer our solution roadmap, lead cross-functional technical teams, and drive innovation that directly impacts our customers and organisation. In this role, you sit at the intersection of strategy and execution - translating vision into working capabilities across cloud, AI/ML and telecom environments. You will be a trusted technical voice for internal stakeholders and customers alike, and a mentor who actively builds competence across the team. What you will do
- Own the technical architecture end-to-end: define, scope and drive design solutions across AAA domains ( Automation, Analytics & AI/ML )
- Manage the solution roadmap, lead development and ensure solutions are maintainable, reusable and fit for scale
- Translate strategy into capabilities: analyse business and customer requirements and deliver solutions that bridge strategic intent with operational reality
- Drive quality and operational excellence: define success criteria and validation techniques, analyse incidents and continuously identify improvements across environments
- Collaborate and align across functions: work closely with delivery, engineering, product and governance teams to ensure solution feasibility, optimise analytics workflows, manage roadmap discussions and enable operational automation
- Support customers and validate solution plans: advise customers, approve capacity and availability plans for our solutions, and drive innovation initiatives that create new value for our customer base
- Share knowledge, contribute to internal communities and foster a culture of re-use and continuous learning
You will bring
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in AAA domains
- Some experience in scripting, CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as a Service
- Hands-on experience with cloud platform Azure
- Experience in project and IT product management
- Familiarity with ML concepts and tooling, data visualisation tools Power BI, MySQL, MLOps practices in cloud and edge environments
- Experience in telecom operations
- Familiarity with ITIL and DevOps frameworks
- Solid knowledge of compliance, risk management and business continuity practices
- A track record of leading cross-functional teams, managing complex technical engagements
- Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Accountability, an agile and customer-centric attitude, the ability to innovate under pressure, and a genuine commitment to mentoring others and sharing what you know
- Eligibility for security clearance is required for this role
