Research and develop low-delay audio compression methods using deep neural networks. Review existing codecs, select and enhance a promising compression approach, and optimize the resulting algorithm for resource-constrained hardware. The thesis focuses on short- and medium-frame audio processing, legacy low-latency codecs, low-bit-rate performance, and DNN-based analysis and synthesis.

Conduct research on automated calibration of city-scale 2.5D and 3D maps using LiDAR data. Develop prototypes that compare map geometry with observed data, address missing or inaccurate structures, and evaluate accuracy and robustness. Work with 3D map formats, computer vision, machine learning, and geometric methods, extending Ericsson Research solutions. Document implementations, analyze results, and communicate recommendations to the research team.
