Your Impact
We seek an innovative QA engineer to test features associated with Hypershield’s management plane, which controls the security assets deployed by customers. Our Ideal candidate will have the ability to identify bugs and negative patterns/trends as well as optimize testing with carefully crafted passes. They will communicate effortlessly with collaborators, particularly when clarifications are needed on software behavior.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure we connect together network events of significance, AI engines, the generation, administration, deployment, enforcement and orchestration of security policies
- Validate feature sets that enrich the customer experience ranging from deployment to configuration, monitoring, logging, and storage
- Identify areas that need testing, develop methodologies to implement them
- Collaborate with Developers, Project Managers and Program managers, creating transparency into our quality and defining DevTest strategy for the team.
Minimum Qualifications for this Role:
- Bachelors + 7 years of related experience, or Masters + 4 years of related experience, or PhD + 1 year of related experience
- 5+ years of professional QA experience with at least 3 years testing SaaS solutions
- Testing farmwork development
- Golang, Typescript , AWS
- Experience in the network/ security domain
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Ownership of major quality components of a product
- Extensive End to end SaaS applications testing
- Ability to use AWS or other public cloud infrastructure for deployment, spinup, install, configure, etc. as needed, independently
- Prior experience testing products in Linux based environments, fluency with Linux command line
- Networking fundamentals and firewall policies knowledge
- Ability to read programming code
- Define and execute manual tests, while paving the way for automation
- Working as part of a remote or distributed team
