Overview
The B&MI Technology team builds cutting-edge analytics and reporting platforms that serve a global customer base. We are looking for a motivated Full Stack Developer (L8) with 3+ years of experience to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to build modern microservices-based systems, intuitive front-end applications, and leverage emerging AI-enabled development practices to accelerate delivery and innovation.
Role & Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java (Spring Boot, Microservices) and modern UI frameworks (React/Angular).• Build and consume RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration across services.• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and development standards.• Develop scalable, resilient, and secure applications with high availability and performance.• Contribute to system design discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews.• Work in Agile teams and participate in sprint planning, story grooming, and retrospectives.• Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy guidelines, and regulatory requirements.• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root-cause analysis.• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation initiatives.• Continuously improve code quality through testing, monitoring, and performance tuning.
All About You (Required Skills & Experience)
Core Technical Skills• 3+ years of experience in full stack development• Strong expertise in:
o Java (8+), Spring Boot, Microservices architecture
o Frontend frameworks: React (preferred) / Angular
o HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services• Proficiency in relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB)• Good understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean coding practices
Preferred / Differentiating Skills
AI-Driven Development• Experience or strong exposure to AI-enabled software development practices• Hands-on or conceptual experience with:
o AI coding assistants / copilots (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar tools)
o Agent-based development workflows (multi-step automation using AI agents)
o Integrating LLMs (Large Language Models) into applications or developer workflows
o Automating testing, code generation, or documentation using AI tools• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, and delivery speed
Cloud & DevOps• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred: EC2, ECS, S3)• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven/Gradle)• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
Additional Skills• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)• Experience with performance optimization and monitoring tools• Understanding of security best practices (OAuth, JWT, encryption)
