Team Overview
Sr. Devops Engineer for Fraud Solutions products to handle Production, pre-production environments , automation , monitoring through platform engineering tools adoption as well as timely product deployment, security patching and remediation. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
IPI team is seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer (4–5 Years of Experience) to manage, automate, and scale our cloud-native (AWS and GCP) infrastructure. In this role, you will bridge the gap between development and operations by building robust CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensuring high system reliability through modern observability tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code: Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Own and optimize deployment pipelines using Harness.
- Observability & Monitoring: Implement proactive alert systems and dashboards utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Scripting & Automation: Write efficient automation scripts using Python/Bash to eliminate manual operational tasks.
- Workflow Orchestration: Partner with data engineering teams to build, scale, and troubleshoot complex data pipelines and DAGs natively within Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer), ensuring optimal resource allocation and environment stability.
- Security & Compliance: Shift security left by integrating automated secret management (Vault) and container vulnerability scanning into pipelines.
- Container Orchestration: Deploy, configure, and maintain production Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or AKS) workloads and Helm charts.
- Collaboration: Partner with development teams to optimize application performance and streamline release cycles.
- Participate in rotational 24x7 on call
Technical Requirements
- Cloud Platforms: 3+ years of deep hands-on experience with AWS or GCP.
- Infrastructure as Code: Advanced proficiency with Terraform, including state management, workspaces, and building reusable modules.
- Configuration Management: Experience with Ansible.
- Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git workflows, branching strategies, and GitOps principles.
- Data Orchestration: Strong experience deploying, configuring, and monitoring workflow automation pipelines using Apache Airflow or cloud equivalent.
- Linux Systems: Strong operating system fundamentals, networking protocols, and troubleshooting skills.
- Containers: Mastery of Docker fundamentals and Kubernetes administration.

- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
Required Knowledge And Experiences
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, provisioning, monitoring and maintaining Transunion commercial services. Successful candidate requires experience in systems engineering and cloud automation, be a critical thinker, a scripter with strong coding skills that will be used to automate repeatable tasks. Additionally, the candidate must be highly organized with strong communication skills and a mindset for continuous improvement. This role requires On-Call rotation.
