The Role
As a Software Engineer I, you will apply your knowledge of modern software design, best practices, design patterns, and frameworks, with an understanding of application performance and maintainability. You will aspire to use new technologies and challenge yourself to develop innovative solutions. You will work alongside developers and technical leads on a team where collaborative programming and mentoring is regularly practiced.
Your Role:
  • Develop software application using .Net, C#, react.js
  • Prioritize and practice the infrastructure as code principle with Terraform
  • Build, deploy and test using CI/CD best practices.
  • Participate in the exploration and proof of concept of new technologies as they become available to the team.
  • Collaborate with team members on best practices, code reviews, internal tools and process improvements.
  • Evangelize new ideas within your team as well as across teams.
  • Develop reports on PowerBI
  • Explore open source or industry standard solutions that could be a fit for the organization.
  • Being a passionate and flexible engineer, collaborate with your team to achieve and exceed the goal to build, deploy, monitor, and support a highly performing and highly available production system.
  • Live by Agile (particularly Scrum) principles and collaborate with team members using Agile techniques including test driven development, code reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Monitoring and Alerting: New Relic and PagerDuty

  • Develop reports on reporting platform such as PowerBI.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education
  • One to two years of experience in design, development, and implementation of highly scalable, high-volume software systems and components, frontend or backend development of client-facing web applications, and major Internet-oriented applications and systems
  • Professional full stack development experience with Java/.Net/C#, AWS/Azure, react.js, Shell script, TypeScript, Python, DevOps tools, SQL, CI/CD pipeline and API creation

USD 72,200.00 - 108,200.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $72,200.00 - $108,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
