Missions at Amadeus offer the opportunity to learn and grow in an exciting and multicultural environment. More specifically, this RFP is focusing on a mission in the Amadeus Revenue Accounting department, which computes and tracks airlines’ real time financial activities.
Summary of the role:The mission consists in taking part in a project that is designing, developing and maintaining the Revenue Accounting platform. Our goal is to define the technical design, perform development and delivery of the product functionalities based on the solutions agreed with stakeholders.
In this role you’ll:
Participate in specifications reviews, propose technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
Develop software according to Amadeus Standards, including documentation.
Perform code reviews in line with Amadeus quality standards.
Conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
Participate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product.
Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
Support the end user in the Production phase by debugging existing software solutions in response to Problem Tracking Records (PTR) and Change Requests (CR) issued from Product Management or Product Definition.
Strong experience in full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Advanced understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and UML.
Advanced experience in C++ (preferred) or C#, Java Technologies.
Expert in software development concepts including design patters, algorithms, and security requirements.
Working experience with relational and non-relational databases (MSSQL, oracle and MongoDB preferred).
Familiar with version control tools such as GIT and proper branching techniques.
Knowledge in Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
