Redfin is currently seeking a Software Engineer II for our Digital Marketing Engineering team. This high impact team builds infrastructure and tools to enable the Marketing team to create scalable and profitable online marketing campaigns that will drive Redfin’s long-term growth. You will have the opportunity to work on Redfin’s entire digital marketing platform: data pipelines with our partners, campaign management and bid optimization tools, automation of our proprietary marketing attribution system, utilizing machine learning to place effective ad bids, and much more.

About the Role

  • You will partner with the digital marketing team to help drive campaign efficiencies through the use of large scale ETL tasks

  • You will manage and monitor digital marketing active processes to ensure data reliability

  • You will utilize Airflow and write Python code to ping external 3rd party API’s while leveraging Google Tag Manager to validate the campaign effectiveness

  • You will partner heavily with the Marketing Analytics and the Machine Learning teams to identify user segmentation and other data requests needed to facilitate targeted direct email and ads campaigns.

About You

  •  You have 2+ years of software development experience specifically in the digital marketing and/or marketing analytics function.

  • You have demonstrable experience building robust, scalable back-end cloud data infrastructure that efficiently processes millions of records.

  • You have 2+ years experience in AWS, Python, PostgreSQL, and Airflow. Snowflake and/or Redshift experience is highly desired.

  • You have experience with email marketing campaign tools like Iterable.

  • Experience using AI code generation tools tools such as GitHub CoPilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar

  • Experience with analytics software or marketing technology leveraging marketing platforms like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to push data to search engines and other social media sites is highly desirable

On-Call Expectations
This role may include participation in an on-call rotation to support production systems and ensure service reliability. On-call responsibilities may include coverage during nights and weekends. If applicable, frequency and scheduling will be determined by team needs and communicated accordingly.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is $139,100.00-$170,100.00. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.   • 2+ years experience in Airflow
  • Experience with Snowflake and/or Redshift
