POSITION SUMMARY
The Social Media Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of Bedrock's social media efforts. This role assists with content planning, community management, performance reporting, and cross-functional coordination to help maintain a consistent, brand-aligned social media presence across key platforms. The Social Media Coordinator works closely with the Manager, Social Strategy and other internal stakeholders to support initiatives that advance Bedrock's business objectives, brand visibility, and community engagement.
ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS
  • Assist in building monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
  • Draft social copy, post concepts, captions, hashtags, and basic content briefs.
  • Coordinate the collection of assets, approvals, and publishing details with internal teams and agency partners.
  • Support the adaptation of content for platform-specific formats and audience behaviors.
  • Capture and assemble short-form content using an iPhone, including photo, video, and basic editing, to support day-to-day storytelling needs.
  • Organize raw footage and content assets for editing in collaboration with internal and external partners.
  • Monitor comments, direct messages, mentions, and tags across Bedrock social media accounts.
  • Provide timely, on-brand responses using approved messaging guidance and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Track social media trends, platform updates, audience interests, competitor activity, and emerging content formats.
  • Identify opportunities for content ideas, engagement, and experimentation and compile examples to support social planning efforts.
  • Pull performance data from platform analytics and reporting tools.
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly reporting, insights, and performance summaries.
  • Support tracking of key social media metrics, including reach, engagement, clicks, and follower growth.
  • Maintain influencer and creator contact lists, tracking documents, and collaboration records.
  • Coordinate influencer campaign deliverables, timelines, content reviews, and approvals.
  • Monitor influencer content for brand alignment and assist with campaign recaps and performance tracking.
  • Partner with Marketing, Public Relations, Property, and Content teams to support social media execution.
  • Manage deadlines, approvals, and deliverables for social media requests and initiatives.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for campaign launches, events, and special projects.
  • Assist in maintaining content libraries, workflow documentation, and naming conventions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, content creation, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting social media content planning, publishing, or community management activities.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and current content formats.
  • Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar business applications.
  • Experience capturing photo and video content using mobile devices preferred.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar content creation tools preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Bedrock is an in-person, five-day-a-week workplace. All team members are expected to work on site Monday through Friday during standard business hours, unless otherwise specified by their role or designated shift.
  • Some roles may have flexibility to work remotely on Fridays, based on the nature of the work and business needs. This flexibility is granted at the discretion of the Company and may be adjusted at any time.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; occasional movement between buildings; occasional ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
