CINCINNATI GENERAL OFFICESJob Description
North America Skin Care is seeking a versatile and skilled Social Content Manager to drive the strategy, creation, editing, and operational delivery of "thumb-stopping" content specifically for P&G's North America Skin Care Brands. This pivotal role requires an individual who can seamlessly blend creative execution with meticulous program management, ensuring the social strategy is both innovative and flawlessly executed to resonate with the Skin Care consumer.
You will be responsible for the entire social strategy lifecycle, from building strategy plans to identifying emerging trends and concept generation to rapid production, shooting, editing, and ensuring compliant delivery across all major social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts). This role demands an agile, social-native individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of working lean to produce high-volume, platform-specific content.
This is a multi-faceted role that works closely with Marketing, Communications, and Design to bring disciplined social strategy to life along with the hands-on creation and editing skills of a content producer. You will operate as an all-in-one content powerhouse, capable of driving initiatives from strategic intent through to live deployment, with a specific focus on the unique needs and aesthetics of skin care.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Social Content Strategy & Creation:
Lead the development and execution of platform-native content strategies in a way that connects with Consumers. This includes staying ahead of trends, viral formats, and emerging styles relevant to NA Skin Care.
Produce and edit social content from concept to final delivery, optimized for each platform's unique requirements (pacing, composition, visual language).
Execute quick shoots and efficient edits with new and existing assets, capturing skincare product content, routine demonstrations, ingredient spotlights, expert collaborations, beauty application demos, and trend-driven social content with speed and authenticity.
Deliver finished, platform-ready assets that balance brand quality with social authenticity.
Experiment with new formats and ideas to keep content fresh and engaging, using insights into performance to inform future content.
Social Content Editing & Motion Graphics:
Transform raw footage (live-action and assets) into engaging, high-performing social content using industry-standard editing software, mobile editing apps, and AI-enabled content studios.
Create compelling motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, kinetic typography, and visual effects that elevate social content without overproducing it.
Adapt editing styles quickly to match platform aesthetics and trending effects, ensuring content feels native and timely.
Collaboration & Content Pipeline:
Work closely with Brand Marketing, Communications, and Design to translate brand objectives into engaging social content.
Partner with Brand Marketing leaders to brief and manage social content agencies and deliverables.
Collaborate effectively with broader creative teams, taking feedback, iterating quickly, and contributing insights based on platform performance.
Organize and manage media assets, project files, and deliverables efficiently.
Help build and refine the NA Skin Care content library, edit workflows, templates, and systems for scalability and consistent scroll-stopping assets.
Job Qualifications
Candidate Profile:
The All-in-One Creator & Strategist: You don't just know how to edit or shoot; you understand social platforms deeply, can concept, plan, produce, shoot, and edit – and quickly. You live on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, knowing what's trending before it trends and how to adapt content to feel authentic to each platform.
Culture Obsessed & Visually Astute: You possess an innate eye for making products look aspirational, effective, and beautiful, both in-camera and in post-production. You understand lighting, composition, color grading for diverse skin tones and product textures, and how to enhance product benefits without losing authenticity.
Nimble, Fast & Efficient: You thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments, comfortably working with whatever tools the job requires (from mobile capture to professional cameras). You can turn around edits and content quickly without sacrificing quality, knowing when to refine and when to ship.
Technically Versatile: Proficient in industry-standard editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve) and strong with motion graphics tools (After Effects). You can work seamlessly with both live-action footage and CG assets.
Disciplined Operator & Owner: You act with urgency and precision, delivering work on time, on spec, and with high accuracy. You independently drive defined scope from brief to live, managing multiple workstreams with precision and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Collaborative Self-Starter and Not Afraid to Take Calculated Risks: You work well with others but don't need constant direction, taking initiative, pitching ideas, and executing them resourcefully. You take feedback constructively, iterate quickly, and are passionate about making content that performs and drives results.
Experience: Proven experience in project management, production, particularly within digital, social, or content delivery workflows. Familiarity with asset tracking, trafficking, or media delivery systems (e.g., Coupa, AdCost, SharePoint, Extreme Reach) is a plus.
Starting Pay/Salary Range: $85,000 –$ 122,200
