Service Desk Agent/1st Line Technical Support - 24/7 Shift Position (all humans)

Daily Operations Service Desk is the only team operating 24/7 in Erste Digital. This team is the single point of contact for employees and customers for registered tickets and also for tickets generated from monitoring tools, with special tasks such as user access management and security duties.

Daily Operations 1st line Activities include basic Tasks for Unix/Linux, DB, Middleware, Backup and Network Teams.

What to do:

• Technical assistance in person, via phone, based on incoming tickets

• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues

• Provide user with solutions to their issues

• Redirect problems to correct responsible person

• Escalate issue requiring urgent resolution

• Communicate with customers and support teams

• User access management tasks

• Security checks for potential malicious activity

• 1st line activities for Unix/Linux, DB, Middleware, Backup and Network Teams

You check these boxes:

• Ability to work 12 Hours Shifts (Patttern: 4 Working Days + 4 Days off)

• University education (Bachelor's degree - Educational Specialization : IT related, technical – is a plus)

• Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux, DB, Middleware, Backup and Network (experience on 1st Line Support is advantage)

• Organized team player with positive attitude and intention to learn new things

• Fluent English, German is an advantage.

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - we are obliged by law to quote the minimum wage of EUR 1700 EUR gross per month for this full time position.
