Drives the transition toward identity-, device- and context-aware access while coordinating with identity, architecture, detection, incident response and technology operations teams. Provides people leadership, stakeholder management and scalable security patterns across Erste Group.

Leads the development of a Group-wide cyber fusion capability covering threat detection, detection engineering, threat intelligence, incident response, fraud prevention, and response automation. Owns service maturity, operational outcomes, people leadership, and collaboration across security, fraud, payments, identity, and customer-protection functions. The role focuses on improving detection quality, response speed, automation, and scalable security practices while reducing operational and financial impact.

Support the development and implementation of IT strategy and CIO initiatives. Analyze technology trends, contribute to IT governance, portfolio and investment management, and address technology-related regulatory topics. Prepare decision materials for senior stakeholders, collaborate on architecture, cloud, data and AI initiatives, facilitate cross-functional workshops, and improve governance processes and decision-making.

Supports test management, reporting, test execution, documentation, and communication across teams. Builds and improves automated tests, including end-to-end testing. Build reusable identity platforms, APIs, connectors, standards, and self-service services for Group-wide consumption. Establish scalable entitlement and role models, improve automation and access certification, support non-human identities and AI-enabled services, and guide the transition from fragmented solutions to a coherent service-oriented architecture while leading teams and stakeholders.

The role includes platform modernization, continuous improvement, and one to two monthly on-call duties.

Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS, and/or Azure. Collaborate with data engineering teams on DataOps and data lifecycle management, optimize cloud performance, cost, and security, automate provisioning, monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure, and manage network configurations, firewall rules, and security policies.

Build and optimize Databricks data solutions using PySpark and Delta Lake. Manage Product Owners, engineering teams, vendors, implementation partners, budgets, licenses, and external spend while ensuring platform reliability, scalability, data quality, and sustainable delivery across enterprise IT and business functions.

Designs and maintains automation for Oracle platforms and infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash. Builds CI/CD pipelines and self-service tooling, improves reliability and resilience, and operates highly available Oracle environments using RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN. Leads incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, disaster recovery validation, observability improvements, capacity planning, and operational readiness. Provides technical guidance, supports platform modernization, and promotes DevOps and SRE practices across enterprise production environments.

Own, operate, and improve the enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops platform. Ensure availability, performance, security, and resilience while driving automation (PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform), monitoring (Grafana, Citrix Director, ControlUp), incident analysis, and SRE-driven reliability improvements across infrastructure components.

Operate and improve enterprise Oracle database platforms: administer, patch, backup/restore, monitor performance and capacity, troubleshoot incidents, support RAC/Data Guard high-availability, automate tasks with scripting, and collaborate with platform and application teams to increase reliability and observability.

Operate and improve PostgreSQL services in AWS and Google Cloud. Perform administration, backups, upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning, incident response, security, HA/DR, automation, and IaC to ensure reliable, scalable database platforms.
