YOUR NEW ROLE

The Product Owner will be:

• Responsible for communicating and maintaining the vision, roadmap, goals, plans and expectations.
• Support squad members to understand the squad mission and foster accountability for the work to be done, to collectively deliver on commitments.
• Protect the backlog by focusing on the highest priority work and and liaises with stakeholders to descope work that extends beyond the team’s velocity for that sprint.
• Utilises strong communication and influencing skills when coordinating and engaging with stakeholders and teams, to achieve end to end outcome
• Represent the voice of customer and colleague when developing the product roadmap.
• Responsible for managing stakeholders on behalf of the squad, and provide both sides with the transparency and visibility required.
• Comfortable being uncomfortable, continuously learning and improving, valuing progress over perfection
• With the domain teams, track initiatives and report progress to relevant governance bodies/LTs, as required.
• Help delivery teams solve problems / deal with specific delivery challenges, to ensure successful delivery.
• Work with delivery squads to drive clear prioritisation and ensure Investment Platforms have well-articulated requirements aligned to backlog.
• With the domain team, ensure delivery of work is in line with the agreed financial plan agreed and milestones.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• In-depth understanding of digital space with 15+ years of experience
• 4-6 years of experience mobilising and supporting medium, cross functional and self-managing teams
• Extensive experience working in agile ways of working
• Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making.
• Markets/Wealth Experience
• Strong background / experience in online trading
• Sound technology background.
• Demonstrable knowledge of platforms landscape.
• Demonstrable knowledge of partner landscape.
