Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking omnichannel retailer focused Senior Trade Marketeer based in our Madrid office to join on a permanent contract basis reporting into the Head of Marketing.
This will be to develop a team of 3 located in the Madrid office (x1 Trade Marketing Manager plus x2 at Associate level) to drive the design and implementation of in-market retailer campaigns/ projects and support the teams' development whilst helping to impact the wider marketing strategy as part of the Marketing Leadership Team (LT). Core Responsibilities
Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing Trade Marketing team, fostering a collaborative team orientated approach, accountability and continuous growth
Define and drive the overarching Trade Marketing strategy, setting the vision for owned drive period campaigns to deliver maximum brand and commercial impact
As a member of Marketing LT, contribute to broader marketing strategy and business decisions beyond Trade Marketing scope, at Western Europe level, sharing guidelines and contributing to regional initiatives
Drive strategic Trade Marketing budget ownership, ensuring smart prioritization aligned with business priorities, Sales and Marketing needs and opportunities
Contribute to the Integrated Commercial Plan for Y+1, as a representative of the Trade Marketing team and part of the integrated commercial planning process (ICP) of the Business Unit.
Curious exploration bringing external developments in and generates ideas proactively to ensure Trade Marketing innovations in omnichannel spaces.
Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution, being present and accessible to the team while maintaining a leadership perspective

The LEGO Marketing Team brings one of the world’s most iconic brands and its products for consumers and shoppers to life. Our Marketing team distil audience insights, take decisions rooted in data, develop and implement effective marketing plans, with 360 campaigns including traditional and digital media, events and in-store execution, ensuring strong media presence. Trade Marketing has the responsibility to improve the shopper experience with the LEGO brand being at our core for Online, LEGO Certified Stores, Toy Specialists, Grocery, and Department Stores which defines, develops and delivers the strategy of activation of our whole franchises’ portfolio into the distribution channels engagement.
Do you have what it takes?
In-depth relevant Trade Marketing experience within FMCG or premium consumer brand
Deep understanding of omnichannel Trade Marketing and ability to connect critical metrics with overall marketing and business objectives
Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of building, developing and inspiring high-performing teams commercial savvy, strong shopper first thinking, deep functional expertise in Trade Marketing (omnichannel) as well as the retail-landscape
Strong strategic and multidisciplinary end to end thinking and ability of translating strategy into local priorities for Trade Marketing
Relationship builder and collaborator with a strong ability to influence, gain trust quickly. A strong collaborator across functions and hierarchies that steer a wide range of collaborators internally and externally
Experience in budget management and strategic prioritization aligned to business needs
Confirmed ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with key retail partners, acting as a trusted and strategic partner
Strong business proficiency in English both written and spoken as well as fluent in Spanish
Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office per week, 2 days from home
