About the Opportunity
At Ericsson, we are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our TQA team, responsible for testing 3P Orchestration and 3P CaaS layers supporting Cloud Native Functions (CNFs) and end-to-end testing integration. The role involves analyzing testing prerequisites, designing test scenarios, managing test data, performing RCA, and overseeing defect management within an Agile framework.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze requirements and articulate testing needs via HLD, CPI, CAL, and related artefacts.
Design, prepare, and execute test cases and test data covering NFs under test.
Perform defect analysis and RCA aligned to the testing flow under evaluation.
Support pre- and post-production QA testing, including UAT in Lab and Production environments.
Maintain test case documentation and collaborate with QA, SA, and Platform teams.
Manage defect tracking and RCA within a common triage framework.
Required Skills
Strong understanding of Cloud Native Functions (CNFs) and functional testing flows.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes stack at verification and solution level.
Testing experience with Orchestration flows (3P Stack, EO, EVNFM, ENM) and Platform level (ECCD, CNIS).
Experience with traffic simulators (cAAT, vDallas) and proficiency in Linux.
Well-versed in STLC, Agile, Test Design, and tools like HP-QC / JIRA.
