Job Description
Cricut is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team as a 6-month fixed-term employee. In this full cycle recruiting role, the recruiter will drive sourcing, interviewing, offers, and strategy for our technical teams, including software engineering, data, UX, and more. The ideal person for this role will have an innate hunger to achieve, coupled with a self-driven and organized nature, and an impressive ability to build connection. As the ultimate job matchmaker, you will be expected to identify A-player candidates who embody Cricut’s core values.
This position must be local in Utah as we require you to come into the office a minimum of 3 days a week, subject to change.
Responsibilities:
- As gatekeeper to the company, uphold Cricut’s culture and talent standards by thoroughly understanding the company values and mantras. Use this knowledge to identify and select top candidates who align with those standards.
- Demonstrate expertise and enthusiasm in recruitment to attract and retain talent.
- Utilize advanced methods for sourcing top-tier candidates, including proactive networking, market research, and innovative sourcing strategies.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and market conditions, sharing knowledge and insights with hiring managers and the team.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop growth-focused recruitment strategies.
- Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess a strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
- Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates at all levels and develop sophisticated closing strategies that seek for matching fit and motivation rather than focusing on selling alone.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in the company's database, utilizing data to improve and optimize recruitment processes.
- Support HR and Culture Team activities and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of full cycle recruiting experience required (in-house or agency)
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on technical roles such as software engineers, data scientists, IT specialists, etc.
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strategic and innovative thinking in talent acquisition.
- Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research
- Strong understanding of technical roles and technologies (e.g., software development, DevOps, cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, etc.).
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) and industry tools (e.g., AWS, Git, Kubernetes) to effectively assess candidate qualifications.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like SmartRecruiters, Greenhouse, Lever, or Jobvite.
- Experience using recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and Boolean search methods.
- Familiarity hiring for the C-Suite
