Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Design highly complex modules, critical components, and/or a whole application/product in its entirety to then integrate it across multiple systems. Drive the design and development efforts related to architecture, scalability, availability, and performance in alignment with the product/application roadmap. Provide technical leadership and define, develop, and evolve software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development and infrastructure. Provide guidance to developers with either planning and execution and/or design architecture using agile methodologies (such as SCRUM). Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements and vision. Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse. Capture system level requirements by brainstorming with CTO, Sr. Architects, Data Scientists, Businesses, and Product Managers. Lead impact assessment and decision related to technology choices, design/ architectural considerations and implementation strategy. Serve as Subject Matter Expert in processes and methodologies with ability to adapt and improvise in various situations, as well as expert in navigating through ambiguity and prioritizing conflicting asks. Orchestrate architecture and design efforts across the product / multiple product versions, while architecting custom solutions off the base product.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related. Ten (10) years of experience in infrastructure engineering, software applications development, or a combination thereof. Employer will accept twelve (12) years of experience in infrastructure engineering, software applications development, or a combination thereof in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and ten (10) years of experience as described above. Work experience to include: Hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Design and Deployment; Microservices Architecture, and Kubernetes & Docker deployments on Cloud and Edge environments; Kubernetes (AWS EKS) and Helm package management and troubleshooting; DevOps, Release Engineering (CI/CD), Configuration Management, and Infrastructure as Code; Design of computing, network, or storage to meet business application system qualities; and IHE ATNA (Audit Trail and Node Authentication) audit repository.
