The Role

Summary

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Senior Specialist to join our global marketing team. This role will manage and optimise Search Engine Marketing (SEM), display advertising, social media advertising and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) across 10+ markets. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in digital performance marketing, preferably working with global brands or within the travel and hospitality industry.

Job Description

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) & Display Advertising 

  • Plan, execute, and optimise always-on campaigns across multiple markets 

  • Manage budgets, pacing, bid strategies, and audience targeting to meet performance goals 

  • Work closely with media agency and platform advertisers, including day-to-day coordination, performance reviews, and relationship management 

  • Adopt a structured approach to A/B testing across all elements (e.g. ad copy, targeting, creative, landing pages, etc.) to continuously improve results 

Social Media Advertising 

  • Plan, execute, and optimise always-on social media advertising campaigns across multiple markets and platforms 

  • Optimise audience targeting, creative, and placements to continuously improve performance 

  • Support campaign pushes for integrated campaigns 

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) 

  • Implement on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to improve organic search performance 

  • Conduct keyword research, optimise content, and monitor site performance 

  • Collaborate with content and web teams to enhance visibility and traffic 

  • Develop SEO and SEM synergy to meet commercial needs 

  • Drive SEO growth beyond English-speaking markets, ensuring strategies are relevant for localised audiences 

Data Analysis & Reporting 

  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance across all channels and markets 

  • Prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations for optimisation 

  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate attribution, data integrity, and consistent reporting across markets 

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement 

  • Work closely with in-market teams, agencies and creative functions to ensure localisation and alignment 

  • Keep updated with industry trends, new tools, and platform updates 

  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and results 

 

Requirements 

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in SEM, display advertising, SEO, and/or paid social campaigns 

  • Experience managing multi-market campaigns for global brands; travel and hospitality industry experience is a strong plus 

  • Structured and analytical mindset, with hands-on experience in A/B testing and optimisation frameworks 

  • Strong numerical literacy and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights 

  • Proficiency in platforms such as Google Ads, DV360, GA4, Search Console, Meta Ads Manager, and SEO tools (e.g. BrightEdge); as well as Microsoft Excel 

  • Strong agency management and negotiation skills, with proven experience in collaborating with external partners 

  • Excellent communication and project management skills 

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, an able to work independently while managing multiple projects 

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field preferred 

  • Good to have: Understanding of the media landscape in China (e.g. WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Baidu)
