About This Opportunity
The networks powering 4G and 5G connectivity don't build themselves - and neither do the cloud-native platforms transforming how they run. As a Senior System Integrator specialising in Ericsson's Dual Mode Core, you'll be at the technical sharp end of some of the most complex and consequential deployments in the region.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll own integration, deployment, migration, and troubleshooting across live Tier-1 operator environments - working at the intersection of traditional core networks and next-generation cloud-native infrastructure. If you thrive under pressure, take pride in technical precision, and want your work to directly shape how millions of people connect - this is your role.
What You'll Do
Lead Integration & Deployment: Drive installation, configuration, commissioning, and end-to-end validation of Ericsson DMC solutions across 4G and 5G Core networks. You'll ensure every deployment meets design standards and goes live with confidence.
Own Cloud-Native Delivery: Deploy and manage DMC workloads on Ericsson's cloud platforms - onboarding cloud-native network functions, troubleshooting Kubernetes, storage, and networking layers, and leading migrations from virtualised to cloud-native infrastructure.
Execute Upgrades & Lifecycle Management: Lead in-service software upgrades, transformation activities, and End-of-Maintenance replacements - validating service continuity every step of the way so the network never misses a beat.
Drive Troubleshooting & Incident Recovery: When complex issues arise, you'll lead the technical investigation - analysing logs, traces, alarms, and performance data, working directly with Product Development Units to find root causes and stabilise critical services fast.
Execute Change with Discipline: Own the implementation of approved Method of Procedures (MOPs), pre-checks, health checks, and post-validation activities. Rollback plans will always be ready. Nothing goes to production without your sign-off on readiness.
Optimise & Automate: Analyse performance trends, support capacity planning, and continuously push for smarter ways of working - building scripts, leveraging CI/CD and GitOps frameworks, and reducing manual effort through automation.
What You Bring
Core Network Expertise• Deep knowledge of Ericsson Dual Mode Core (DMC) solutions.• Strong command of 4G EPC and 5G SA Core architectures, end-to-end service flows, and subscriber lifecycle management.• Solid understanding of signalling, policy control, charging, and subscriber data management.• Experience with high availability and geo-redundant network designs.
Cloud & Linux• Hands-on experience with CNIS and cloud-native telecom deployments.• Linux system administration, shell scripting, Ansible, and Python.• CI/CD pipeline understanding and GitOps practices.
Protocols & Interfaces• IP Networking, TCP/IP, Diameter, SCTP, HTTP/2, DNS, REST APIs - you know these cold.
Experience• 8-12+ years in Telecom Core Network integration and support.• Proven track record in Tier-1 operator environments.• Strong background in cloud transformation, upgrades, migrations, and complex multi-domain troubleshooting.
