The Senior Specialist, Digital Clinical Operation is responsible for supporting the Digital Clinical Operation Lead in digital solution development, data integration, and DCT implementation. This role also involves assisting in the development and integration of platforms to support study teams in gaining better insights into clinical sites and patient populations. The specialist will contribute to the development and implementation of decentralized clinical trial (DCT) solutions in China and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change and promote digital transformation.
Typical Accountabilities
Support the Digital Clinical Operation Lead in digital solution development, data integration, and DCT implementation.
Assist in the development and integration of platforms to enhance site and patient intelligence, supporting study teams in data-driven decision-making.
Assist in the development and implementation of DCT solutions in China, overseeing their execution in clinical trials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advocate for change and promote the implementation of digital solutions, including but not limited to organize internal and external meetings.
Develop digital tools to optimize working processes, track and manage documentation related to digital clinical operations and DCT implementations.
Adhere to AZ and industry code of conduct, ethics, and good regulatory practices, including AZ SOPs and other required SOPs.
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
Bachelor degree or above in Pharmacy, Medical, Biology, Biomedical and/or health informatics, Computer Science, or related field
At least 4-6 year experience as CTA/CTC/CRC or equivalent experience.
Solid knowledge of the Clinical Study Process, AZ Procedural Documents, international ICH/GCP guidelines, and relevant local regulations.
Team oriented and flexible, ability to respond quickly to shifting demands and opportunities.
Good organization and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and good ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment with shifting priorities and good leadership.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft and other software.
Experience in change management.
Proficient written and verbal communication skills, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in both oral and written English.
