JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and support enterprise infrastructure platforms with primary accountability for server, storage, and VDI services, ensuring stability, resiliency, and operational excellence.
- Lead the operational management, capacity planning, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of the VDI platform, driving stable delivery of end-user virtualization services, enhancement of user experience, and roadmap planning for platform evolution.
- Oversee the day-to-day health, maintenance, patching, upgrade planning, lifecycle management, and capacity management of infrastructure platforms.
- Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of infrastructure solutions aligned with business, technology, security, and control requirements.
- Partner with application owners, information security, end user services, project teams, and vendors to deliver infrastructure services and resolve operational issues in a timely and controlled manner.
- Provide secondary coverage for network operations, including coordination and support across LAN/WAN, data center connectivity, switching, routing, firewall-related operations, and issue resolution.
- Drive strong operational discipline across incident, problem, change, release, configuration, and recovery processes.
- Maintain infrastructure standards, technical procedures, operating documentation, and recovery runbooks to support consistency and audit readiness.
- Support production stability initiatives, resiliency enhancements, platform optimization, and disaster recovery preparedness.
- Monitor service health and performance metrics, identify risks and control gaps, and implement improvement actions as appropriate.
- Participate in infrastructure projects including technology refresh, migration, expansion, data center activities, and platform modernization.
- Engage with regional and global technology teams to align local implementation with enterprise standards and strategic direction.
- Support internal audit, regulatory review, risk and control assessments, and vendor governance activities as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Solid experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering or production support, ideally within a structured and high-availability environment.
- Strong knowledge of server, storage, virtualization, and VDI platforms in enterprise environments.
- Proven hands-on experience in VDI opetations and administration, with strong expertise in Citrix VDI platforms and related technologies, including day-to-day support, service delivery, capacity planning, lifecycle management, performance optimization, and end-user experience improvement.
- Good understanding of infrastructure operations across Windows and Linux platforms, including system administration, patching, hardening, and support practices.
- Familiarity with enterprise storage operations, backup and recovery concepts, and resiliency / disaster recovery requirements.
- Working knowledge of core networking concepts and operational support across switching, routing, firewall, VPN, and data center environments.
- Experience working within formal operational frameworks covering incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to assess operational risk and escalation needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across local and regional/global teams.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and support production issues, maintenance activities, and controlled change windows.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Experience in asset management, fund management, securities, banking, or other regulated financial institutions.
- Familiarity with mainstream international enterprise technologies and platforms such as VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat, Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortinet.
- Experience supporting multi-site, production and disaster recovery environments.
- Exposure to automation and scripting using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
- Familiarity with enterprise monitoring, logging, and service management platforms.
- Experience in vendor coordination, audit support, control documentation, and platform standardization.
- Relevant certifications such as VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat, Cisco, or ITIL are a plus.
- For Vice President level candidates, demonstrated strength in stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and delivery leadership is preferred.
