The Role
Job Description
Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?
Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Matter.
In this exciting and strategic role, you will be a key driver of our MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) procurement strategy across Europe. You will use market insights and data analysis to partner with stakeholders across our 50 factories, shaping new market trends and ensuring Mondelēz International maintains a competitive edge. This is a role for a self-starter who can take ownership and deliver results. You will be instrumental in developing and executing sourcing strategies, while also driving the continuous improvement and standardization of our sourcing processes.
How you will contribute
You will be a vital member of the European MRO procurement team, responsible for ensuring our manufacturing sites have the right parts, services, and materials at the right cost. Working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, you will:
  • Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies: Take full, end-to-end ownership of the strategic sourcing process for key MRO categories, including spare parts, electrical components, bulk chemicals, maintenance services, PPE, and lubricants across our network of 50 European factories.
  • Drive Value and Cost Optimization: Proactively identify and champion cost-saving opportunities, challenging the status quo and delivering tangible results against clear objectives.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, qualify, and build strong relationships with new and existing suppliers. Lead negotiations for pan-European framework agreements to optimize and unify our supplier base.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with technical and maintenance teams within the factories to understand their needs, provide expert procurement guidance, and ensure alignment on sourcing strategies.
  • Drive Initiatives: Independently manage a complex portfolio of sourcing projects, demonstrating initiative to drive them from initial concept through to final execution and successful implementation.

What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in:
  • A Proactive and Autonomous Mindset: You are a natural self-starter who thrives on working towards clear goals with a high degree of independence. You demonstrate initiative, take ownership of outcomes, and have a proven ability to drive processes from start to finish.
  • Technical Aptitude: A strong technical background or a keen interest in mechanics is highly desirable. Experience as an engineer, working in a factory maintenance/technical department, or a similar hands-on environment would be a significant asset.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Proven experience in procurement or a related commercial field is welcome, but not strictly essential if a strong technical background is present. You understand the principles of finding, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Organizational and Project Management Skills: A highly organized and structured approach to your work. The ability to manage multiple complex sourcing projects simultaneously across different countries and stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives achieved.
  • Negotiation and Influence: Strong negotiation skills and a results-driven approach to building collaborative relationships, influencing stakeholders at all levels
