Technical
Design, develop, and deliver high-quality, scalable software components.
Lead and contribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
Define clean interfaces and data exchange between modules and systems.
Make informed technology and design choices through due diligence and impact analysis.
Ensure high code quality through best practices, unit testing, and automation.
Assess and optimize application performance using sound design, algorithms, and coding techniques.
Demonstrate strong expertise in data structures, algorithms, and the chosen technology stack.
Maintain deep ownership of assigned components while understanding overall product architecture.
Process
Identify scope, provide accurate estimates, and justify them with technical reasoning.
Apply strong understanding of Agile SDLC and execute effectively within each phase.
Break down work into actionable tasks aligned with product and release goals.
Deliver consistently in a fast-paced environment while managing priorities and dependencies.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners to align technical execution with product vision.
Seek and provide ongoing feedback to improve design, development, and delivery outcomes.
Leadership
Provide technical leadership and guidance within an Agile (Scrum) team.
Review code regularly and ensure timely, constructive feedback.
Mentor and support a team of 2-3 engineers on technical skills and engineering maturity.
Promote and reinforce engineering best practices across the team.
Help unblock issues and drive alignment across teams and stakeholders.
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
More than 8 years of experience in Software Development.
Desired Characteristics
Strong proficiency in modern C++ (C++14) with experience building robust, production-quality systems.
Hands-on experience with embedded software development on Linux, including close collaboration with hardware design and development teams.
Deep understanding of Yocto-based systems, IP networking concepts, hardware interfaces, device drivers, and embedded hardware subsystems.
Solid experience with DevOps practices and container technologies, including Docker.
Proven expertise in network programming, including TCP/IP concepts and socket programming using C++.
Prior experience working with DDS (Data Distribution Service) frameworks for distributed systems.
