About the opportunity:
The Ericsson Cloud Native Infrastructure solution can be distributed across central and edge sites to support numerous 5G services and use cases. The solution is based on Ericsson Cloud Container Distribution (a CNCF-certified CaaS), Ericsson Software Defined Infrastructure providing efficient hardware management to enable application orchestration using standardized workflows.
Our focus is on Agile ways of working. This job provides an opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies, latest 5G product development on Cloud native technologies.
What you will do: • Develop and deliver features for Ericsson's Cloud Native Infrastructure products that power the 5G portfolio, contributing across the full software development lifecycle• Own end-to-end delivery - from understanding requirements and building designs to writing code, automating tests, and qualifying through CI pipelines• Work across a wide range of engineering activities including new features, defects, vulnerabilities, and improvements to meet evolving business and customer needs• Document delivered features to ensure maintainability, knowledge sharing, and long-term product quality• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, bringing strong problem-solving skills and the ability to independently drive outcomes from design to deployment.
The Skills you bring:• Masters/B.Tech in Computer Science (or) related field • 4+ years of software development experience in products like network management software such as NMS/EMS/OSS in Telecom or Networking domain.
Preferred Skills:• Proficiency in developing optimized code with excellent programming skills in GO• Working knowledge & hands-on cloud native application development experience in
o Cloud Native Architecture & Microservice Architecture
o Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
o Linux based Operating Systems and Rest APIs
o Virtualization concepts including docker & Kubernetes• Ability to develop features in adherence to architecture guidelines• Working knowledge in Python automation and Robot framework would be an advantage• Strong analytical & programming skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Working knowledge in Agile methodologies, Git, Gitlab, Gerrit and use of JIRA for efficient task management.
