DIP (Digital Innovation Platform) Senior Engineer will bring deep technology expertise and technical coaching in the strategic transformation of setting up and running newly formulated Engineering Teams who support and grow 5 digital products (global and regional). IES is one of GBS service lines that focuses on delivering scaled services for R&D. Objective of this Engineering transformation is to optimize operations, drive technical innovation, speed up time to market, and improve software quality.
The aspiration is to create Engineering Teams known for their cutting-edge solutions and robust engineering practices. The teams will support a wide range of IT initiatives that are critical to the organization’s
success. The Senior Engineer will play a key role in shaping the future of our engineering capabilities by building, while at the same time, providing technical mentoring to junior engineers.
This role requires a deep understanding of Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, Linux, Windows server administration, networking, and databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Implementation: Build with quality, on time, and on schedule in full alignment with digital products roadmaps.
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Implementing best practices and ensuring high-quality deliverables including BMAD
- Team Development: Supporting the professional growth of team members via technical coaching and mentorship.
- Stakeholder Management: Seamlessly collaborating with Product Teams and Business Partners to ensure alignment and successful product roadmaps delivery.
Job Qualifications
- We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience in the following domains:Production Software Development: Experience developing and deploying production software.
- Technical Communication: Ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders, business partners, and product/project managers.
- Cloud Native Development: Experience with cloud-native development on Microsoft Azure
- CI/CD Tooling: Familiarity with CI/CD tooling and working in a Platform Engineering environment.
- Digital Product Management: Familiarity with Product Management and working in Agile Delivery environment.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with strong interpersonal skills.
